Roger Waters, Mitbegründer von Pink Floyd, spielte bei seiner großen „Us + Them Tour“ nicht nur Songs aus seiner Solo-Karriere, sondern auch Lieder seiner berühmten Band. Die Tour führte ihn vom Mai 2017 bis Dezember 2018 rund um die Welt, dabei absolvierte er mit seinen Musikern 156 Auftritte vor 2,3 Millionen Menschen. Gemeinsam mit dem Regisseur Sean Evans schuf Rogers aus den Konzert- und Backstage-Aufnahmen von der Tour einen Dokumentarfilm, in dem unter anderem Songs aus den legendären Pink-Floyd-Alben „The Wall“, „The Dark Side Of The Moon“, „Wish You Were Here“ und „Animals“ zu hören sind. Auch aus Waters‘ jüngstem Solo-Studioalbum “Is This the Life We Really Want?” von 2017 sind Stücke vertreten. Über seine Tour und den dazugehörigen Kinofilm sagt Roger Waters: „US + THEM ist eine Stimme für Liebe und Leben.“
